  Difference in models -

  The difference between the LORENTZ S1-700 HRE (Helical Rotor) models lies entirely in their hydraulic configurations. While they share the exact same 750W motor, their internal pumping elements are optimized differently to trade off between flow rate (volume) and head (vertical lift/pressure). 

  
  

  The specific model differences function as follows:

  HRE 10

  • Primary Strength: High volume with medium lift.
  • Design: Designed to move larger quantities of water over shorter to moderate distances.

  2-10

  • Primary Strength: Balanced for moderate flow and moderate head.
  • Design: Engineered to push water a bit higher vertically or further through pipe networks compared to the HRE 10, while still providing a strong daily water yield. 

  4-6

  • Primary Strength: High volume, low lift.
  • Design: Designed to push the maximum amount of water possible (the "4" denotes the highest nominal flow capacity of this group), but it is generally restricted to shallower water sources or shorter pipe runs (the "6" denotes a lower maximum head rating compared to the other models).
